Spencer has been guiding for 18 years now and is co-owner of Duxmen Outfitters, Inc. Duck hunting is a way of life and his main focus as a career. He is either hunting or scouting 60 days of the season for ALL customers of Duxmen Outfitters. Spencer pursues his passion of waterfowling and works full time guiding every day of duck season. He is head of guiding operations at Duxmen and is also grounds keeper at Duxmen Lodge in the off season and works the upkeep on the lodge and prepares all of the duck pits. This is a huge job when you are dealing with 12,000 acres of land owned and leased. "I promise that I will work hard and do my part so that you have a successful Arkansas style duck hunting experience." If you have ever met Spencer, he never met a stranger. His work ethic, people skills, passion for the sport, and his genuine friendship are just a few of the things that come to mind if you really get to know him.
Zach has been a guide for 20 years now and is co-owner of Duxmen Outfitters Inc. He also works full time in Jonesboro, AR as a Commercial Lender at Arvest Bank. He has transitioned to running business operations and all leases for Duxmen in the more recent years. Duck hunting is a way of life in the winter time and our operation realizes that people come to Arkansas with high expectations of having a fun trip that they will remember because of the environment and quality of hunting we provide when they get here. He works hand in hand with dozen of farmers in NE Arkansas in addition in own his own land that is hunted and leased in the Duxmen operation so that we have the very best line up to offer all of our repeat clients.
Justin has been guiding at Duxmen for 8 years now. He has been duck hunting since he was 12 years old. Growing up in Northeast Arkansas he has had the opportunity to enjoy all types of hunting, but his passion is duck hunting and watching his dog Junior work. He is currently works for Helena Chemical Company during the summer as a crop scout which allows Justin to be knowledgeable about our area of the real duck capital of the world and hunt is full winter at Duxmen Outfitters.
Daniel is a full time guide at Duxmen Outfitters and this is his 7th year guiding . He works as a field scout in the off season for his own business called Arrowhead Ag Crop Consulting. Daniel spends his weeks all over NE Arkansas driving fields and meeting with farmers so knows just about every piece of farmland in Northeast Arkansas . Daniel is a hard worker , great duck caller, and ready to put your group on birds during your stay!
Matthew has been guiding for Duxmen for 8 years now. Matthew is from Lake City, AR just a few short miles down the road. He grew up hunting the St. Francis river early on in his duck hunting career. From day one, he proved himself to be a hard worker when he started guiding and continues to this day. He works in agriculture in the off season and puts in his share of hours in the ag fields of Northeast Arkansas.
Jody is in his 7th season at Duxmen and he comes with a lifelong history of duck and goose hunting. When you hear "guide" this guy can do it all. Jody also works in the off season at a chemical company and he consistently works hand in hand with a large number of farmers all over NE Arkansas. He grew up hunting numerous areas along Village Creek duck hunting. Jody is one of our main farmer relationship managers on our team and is the first one to jump on a tractor to prepare fields before season. He is always willing to go the extra mile to get jobs done and we would not be successful in all of our annual field preparations without him.
Walker Mates has guided for Duxmen for the past 4 years. Walker is always willing to go the extra mile when guiding or at the lodge. Walker also runs his own waterfowl operation in North Dakota before the Arkansas season come in. He guides about 6 month a year so its safe to say he knows exactly what he is doing! We love having Walker around!
Brock has guided for Duxmen for the pat 3 years with his dog Buck. He loves to hunt both timber and rice fields in NE Arkansas. Brock also helps run a successful dirt excavation business in the off season. Brock love will be ready to take on your group for some exciting hunts at Duxmen Lodge!
